Présentation

Discours d’inauguration

Anne-Marie Tropet.

Good evening everyone,

I would like to warmly thank on behalf of the Franco-Japanese Association of Grenoble and Isère, the Mayor of Grenoble and La Maison de l’International for having allowed the realization of the exhibition Vent d’Est Vent d’Ouest as part of this year’s celebration the 150th anniversary of the restoration of the Meiji Era and the 160th anniversary of the commercial and cultural exchanges between France and Japan.
The Association Franco-Japonaise testifies for thirty years of the vigor of the friendship and the love which weave the links of culture between our two countries through numerous activities, from the teaching of the languages to the introduction to the traditions .
We wanted this exhibition to pay homage to the subtle, extreme sensitivity of a communication of soul forever alive between our two countries, highlighted by the poetry of our artists.
Through the art vehicle of peace and knowledge, we can feel what unites us. We have many things to always learn from each other. Through silence, we perceive the light and the beauty, feel the life, listen to the fabric of the sacred, and of the Universe.
I am deeply convinced that worn by the Wind, this woven Love contributes to the balance of the world. Thus, the East Wind reminds us of the beauty of the morning dew, the value of the tradition of the crafts and their beauty, the taste of slowness and patience in the elaboration of the black work and red, the quest for spiritual gold, in respect of what nature teaches us.
Fabrics, papers, ink, lacquer, and colors penetrate the spirit of what the human being has of best, his ability to vibrate in harmony with nature in the respect of the living.
West wind in response to what we understood, integrated loved and shared to the prism of our expression, with our enthusiasm, our dreams and our hopes.
Music of the waves and the wind pushing the clouds, listen to this delicate language making the resonance shine.
Let us continue in these troubled times, to transmit, to perpetuate beauty, to penetrate our thought of the language of the herbs of the wood and the flowers so that the Light can live the source of the deep wisdom acquired over time and which constitutes the very essence of the culture. without which no society could survive.
I beg you to enjoy with all your senses the following concert and this beautiful exhibition and ask you to accept our gratitude for your honorable presence tonight.
